Are MMTC-PAMP products hallmarked?
MMTC-PAMP refinery is BIS certified and NABL accredited. Hallmarking is done for only Gold items of 14, 18 and 22K. BIS has not published standard procedure for hallmarking 24K Gold. 
Across the world, the standard for the highest quality gold is set by an organization called the LBMA. MMTC-PAMP is the first and only LBMA Good Delivery refinery accredited for both gold and silver, having met LBMA’s stringent standards across the production cycle for precious metals.
LBMA stands for London Bullion Market Association, which is an International trade association representing the market for gold and silver Bullion with a global client base. LBMA’s main role is setting and maintaining global standards for gold and silver, universally recognized as the de-facto standard of quality assured and assayed bullion. What is the difference between 22K and 24K purity?
Karat is the term used to measure the gold content or purity. If we assume the metal to have 24 parts, then 100% of the metal is pure Gold. 22K means, 22/24 K which is 91.67%
Anything above or equal to 99.5% is considered 24K. While 22k is 91.67% Gold.
What is 999.9 purity Gold and Silver?
999.9 is the purest form of Gold or Silver. This means that your product contains at least 99.99% Gold or Silver.
In India anything that is above 995 purity is considered 24K. 
What is the difference between 999 and 999.9?
While 999 means that your gold is 99.90% pure and only 0.1% is other metal, 999.9 means your gold is 99.99% pure, i.e. only 0.01% is other metal. 
In case of MMTC-PAMP gold products, the other metal is 999.9+ Fine Silver.
